Installation Options

Wall Mounting Bracket

The Wall Mounting Bracket is used to support CableFree Lite, 500 and 1000 systems where permanent installation is required on vertical wall surfaces.

Fixing Methods

Wall Mounting Brackets are secured by 4x or 6x M8 Rawl bolts which go into holes that have previously been drilled in the wall. The surface must be able to stand this mounting method without cracking or allowing subsequent movement, vibration or creep of the bracket.

Gable-End Mounting

Gable-end mounting options are used with CableFree 'Lite', 500 and 1000 systems where permanent installation involves a transmission path running back over the roof of a building.

500 & Lite Systems:

For CableFree500 and Lite systems, a combination of the standard wall bracket, a vertical extension strut and the pan/tilt unit is suitable. If the mounting surface is not absolutely firm, a load spreader plate is also required. The length of the extension strut must be specified at time of ordering the mounting kit.

For CableFree1000 systems, a sturdy 'T & K' bracket (available separately) is advised instead of the above scheme owing to weight and size of the unit.

1000 Systems:

For CableFree1000 systems, a sturdy Wall-mount pole is advised, to avoid possible movement of the CableFree unit in adverse conditions such as high winds. These heavy-duty poles are fully weather-proofed and can weigh between 33 and 48kg depending on height. Dimensions must be specified at the time of ordering.

Fixing Methods

Wall Mount Poles are secured by 8x M8 Rawl bolts which go into holes that have previously been drilled in the wall. The surface must be able to stand this mounting method without cracking or allowing subsequent movement, vibration or creep of the bracket.
